The first level maintenance of automotive molds refers to the daily maintenance carried out by operators during production, mainly including cleaning, lubrication, and inspection.

1、 Maintenance during mold installation

Before installing the mold, the upper and lower surfaces of the mold should be cleaned to ensure that the installation surface of the mold and the working surface of the press are not damaged by pressure, and the parallelism of the upper and lower installation surfaces of the mold during production.

After the mold is installed, open the mold and clean all parts of the mold, especially the guide mechanism. For surface mold parts, clean the mold surface to ensure the quality of the parts. Lubricate and apply lubricating grease to the sliding parts of the mold. Inspection of all parts of the mold, especially safety parts. For example, safety side pins, safety screws, side shields, punching waste channels, etc.

2、 Maintenance during production

Regularly oil the corresponding parts of automotive molds during production. For example, the pressing ring and fillet of the drawing die; The cutting edge of the trimming die; Flanging blade section, etc.

Regularly clean the small hole waste channel of the trimming and punching die.

Maintenance after production

After production, a comprehensive inspection of the mold should be carried out.

★ Conduct comprehensive cleaning of the mold to ensure its cleanliness.

Clean up the waste inside the mold to ensure that there is no waste in the waste box.

Provide truthful feedback on the usage status and post use status of the mold to the mold voucher.
